Post your latest oil or filter purchase

Recently acquired 2 new Civic hybrids, it will take a while before the first OCI, but im ready with 2 gallon jugs of Amsoil Signature 0w20 and a spare quart (apparently change is 4.2 quarts with filter) i have also accumulated 4 of the newer Mobil1 M110a filters so I'm good for a while. Apparently Amsoil will be making some adjustments to the Signature formula this summer and they have a new supplier for the EA filters (formally Champion) that will be available this fall, so holding off to see what they come up with.

I guess you can call it a panic buy. Just wanted to make sure I had enough to get through 2027. Figured that was a reasonable timeline. Plus avoiding at a minimum short term price hikes.

Rural King
4 jugs Providence 10w30 synthetic (riding mowers and generator).
5 jugs Providence synthetic 5/0w20 (2 Hondas)
1 jug providence 10w30 Diesel (Kubota BX1880)

Buick Century. I put 20-25k a year on her so this won’t quite get me through 2027 but close. Might stretch OCI’s to 6k. Purchased from Rural king & Amazon.
3 jugs Castrol 5w30 HM
3 Jugs Providence 5w30 HM

Jeep Grand Cherokee
3 OCI’s worth Amsoil 0w30

Ram Rebel

3 - 5 quart jug 3 packs x2 5w30 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum from Amazon

Not buying car parts from eBay anymore, counterfeit parts are a huge problem. Amazon as well. These guys report some reliable dealers.

Thanks, do not need saving from myself. Fully aware of what I bought and doubt anybody is counterfeiting Ecogard filters.

Absolute fact. Best bet is to buy only if Amazon is the seller and shipper or from the actual storefront of the product.

Problems arise from po-dunk out of the garage store fronts and business start-ups who disappear in a few years. Thats a shame because some are honest but how do you tell? Reviews don't mean squat anymore

I shop on Amazon 20% of the time compared to 5-10 years ago when things were more dependable. They've lost the majority of my business obviously. Don't believe Bezos gives a ****

As a practice I shop OEM storefronts directly...may or may not pay more...it would surprise you.

With all the talk about Carquest filters, I bought 5 Carquest Premium 84356 for my wife's CR-V. I have 2 more Fram Ultras available. Also bought a Milton Industries 1/4" Male A-Style Plug. Apparently, I can use this to hook up to my Impreza to pump the CRV IVD cleaner into the vacuum line at my next OCI.

Stocking up....

Amsoil tech line informed me that they have found a new filter supplier to make a filter to their specifications, probably available end of summer, no further details other than it will replace the EA filters,
But I'm thinking $15-20 minimum.
My guess would be a variant of the PGI made full synthetic media filter rated to 20K miles if PGI picked up the Amsoil contract, even if PGI doesn't win the bid for Champ Labs/Fram sale.

FedEx delivered the rest of my Summer and Fall Harley (s) fluid change goodies today!
My Harley EVO Classic to my Harley M8's will have fresh fluids as soon as I get a day in the garage!

Trying some DRIVEN High Zinc GREEN " Made in Bradford Pennsylvania ' Synthetic / mineral blend for the first time in the Harley M8. I see some folks like Driven, all new to me but time will tell...
