Don't think I didn't try to work out how to buy a single qt...
All good. I buy things in bulk when it’s required for the purchase to make sense like free shipping or rebates.
So jealous I wish I could find that available in Canada
I'd buy the 5 gal bucket but I'm not sure how to transfer it to the cars/a smaller container? I may look into it next time.

Got these yesterday. Just happened to poke around and got the case for $24 shipped. Checked all and they were in perfect shape.

Just got home from town. Went by advanced Auto to see if they had any clearance filters and instead left with a jug of ESP 0w30 and a carquest premium filter for my Ford. The deal is pay $37.99 for the jug of Mobil 1 (any Mobil 1) and get any carquest or fram filter for free. Maybe not the best deal on the oil (although $38 for ESP is plenty fair in my opinion) but I got a $10 oil filter for free. The ESP still had the "old" all green label and the 6925 revision number on the back. Carquest premium 85372 has silicone gasket and silicone adbv, made in Malaysia.
Love that bundle deal!! Also works with the Carquest EP filter for free, normally $16.99.
I considered the EP, but the premium with its 10k mile rating is plenty good for me. I run ESP oil for 7-8k miles
It’s weird seeing a 5w-30 high mileage oil. Down here it would be more common to see a 15w-50 or 20w-50 high mileage, there’s even a 30-70 as a “stops oil burning” oil.Is this just a pick'em situation where brand loyalty is the deciding factor or is there evidence proving one is better than the other

The Mobil 1 jug is easier to carry because the handle is mounted higher. Advantage Mobil 1. The Valvoline jug is easier to pour because the handle is mounted lower. Advantage Valvoline.
