Two 5qt jugs of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W20 on sale at Walmart for $26.50 each. Likely finishing up with the last Valvoline Restore and Protect run in the Toyota around late summer/early fall time frame. Couldn’t pass up the $30 rebate and sale combo.

$11.50 per jug after rebate that’s bonkers. My Walmart doesn’t have PUP so I got my 10 quarts for around $38 not bad.

I wasn’t really looking for oil but couldn’t pass that deal up. With the Toyota filters I have on hand that’s ~$17 per oil change x 2.

I’ve never actually bought or ran a Castrol product in the past. I’ve wanted to for awhile, but could never justify the cost for the gold jug. It was cheaper at my local Walmart than Valvoline Advanced or EP, my normal go to.

Will do. I believe it’s the only Dexos1 Gen3 oil with MB 229.71 approval.

That's small engine oil. Personally, I wouldn't run that in either of my vehicles. Heck, it's probably SG rated.

There is no difference between 5w30 in a car and in a small engine… the viscosity doesn’t magically change because it’s being sold for briggs and Stratton vs an old SBC.

Been stocking up on Pennzoil Ultra Platium 5w30 at Walmart with the Pennzoil rebate deal, it rings up $26.95 per jug and the rebate is $30 when you buy two so comes to just over $12 per jug after tax. Have some T6 5w-40 for the Miata back there, and some leftover Mobil 1 Extended Performance most of which will go in my FIL truck.

I’ve been kicking around the idea of switching over our 21 Grand Cherokee and 21 Ram Rebel 5.7 to a 30 weight. I landed on 0w30 for the Jeep to replace the 0w20 it calls for.

A set/pair of SS Filtermag for my oil filter and a Goldplug magnetic drainplug.

I keep forgetting to install the Filtermag on my oil filter. So far it's just magnetizing my desk drawer attracting loose nuts, bolts, and wrenches. I better keep it on other side of drawer from my boxes of paperclips and staples or all heck will break loose.
