GTX full synthetic from Walmart clearance. 5 qts of 5w20 and 3 qts of 5w30 along with a Motorcraft FL500 filter

Why are they doing clearance on a new oil? Didn't it just hit the market?

It's been about a year, I'm guessing it didn't sell well and they're creating space for another product in the already crowded oil aisle. Although in the past Walmart did a bonehead move with Quaker State High Mileage Full Synthetic and Quaker State Euro, they dumped on stores that had no place to put it and then clearanced it off even though it was a new product there wasn't really any space to put it on the planograms.

Oh boy I couldn't help myself. Went to a Walmart just north of me and scored some more Castrol 0w20 and 5w20 and 5w30 And they had Valvoline 5w20 on clearance for 11 bucks a jug.

(4) 5 quart jugs valvoline 10w30 $11 each clearance Walmart. The 5w30 was $17, if it goes down I'll snatch that up.

At Menards picked up some purolator one oil filter rated 15k miles for 7.49 now with 11% rebate. toil filter good for once a year change.

Walmart probably paid an employee more to pick the order at the warehouse and pack it than I paid for it. Although I'm sure Mobil got their money and FedEx got theirs.
