Two oil changes today:
Mother's Ford Five Hundred:
Out:
Valvoline Maxlife 5w20 Syn Blend
Motorcraft FL-820S filter
In:
Mobil Super 5000 5w20 Syn Blend
Motocraft FL-820S filter
Father's Kia Sportage:
Out:
Mobil 1 0w40 European Car Formula
Wix filter
In:
NAPA 5w30 Full Synthetic High Mileage
6-8oz of Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer because my dad is silly
Hyundai OEM filter
Did the first coolant change on the Kia today, just drained from the petcock and refilled. Used the proper coolant (some Pentosin stuff?) and distilled water, but added about half a bottle of Royal Purple's cooling system additive too, which I feel more confident in than Lucas oil.

Father's happy how it runs, though, says the AC runs cooler than ever now.
On my end, the Mobil Super 5000 was a bit of a wildcard to me, as I bought about 30-40 quarts on sale for $1 a quart at NAPA, but they were older 2017-2018 or so API SN quarts, so I shook them well but everything looked and seemed normal as I poured them today, so I think everything is good and happy. I can't really say anything specific to how it's running with it vs the Maxlife except that it's a tad smoother, but I think it's just because it's new oil. Either way I'm happy I have a stockpile of 2-3 more years worth of oil and filters regardless of brand, especially in current turbulent times.
