In: 3.0 quarts blend (4qts Mobil 1 15w-50 + 1 qt ASTO 500 + 3 qts Napa SAE 40)

Off: N/A (PO stated they changed oil in February; likely not ridden many miles, going for round 2)
Estimated hours on filter: unknown
Miles on filter: unknown
On: N/A

Will change this in October after a planned AR trip; should be a little over 2,000 miles total by that time.
Acquired this bike about two months ago, and was not aware of the fragile oil sump problem on them. Put a hairline crack into the pan and needed to swap it out; decided to start fresh on the oil as well. Also installed a Homyl sump guard to help prevent this from happening again..

Thought it would be best to just throw on a new filter. Be generous to the new bike.

2014 Triumph Tiger 800XC

Miles on Oil: 13,570 - 11,045 = 2,525
Hours on oil: 60
Out: 3qt Delvac 1300 15W-40 + 1.5oz Lubegard Bio-tech + 1.5 oz TB Zinc Plus
In: 3qt Delvac 1300 15w-40 + 1qt Mobil1 V-twin 20w50
Off: Fram TG6607
On: Triumph OEM filter (given from PO)

Not too interested in running this filter for more than 1 OCI. Currently plan on going to XG6607 filters in the future.
The Mobil1 V-twin should bring the phosphorous up for this blend to roughly 1000ppm and should prop up the HTHS.
2014 Triumph Tiger 800XC

Miles on Oil: 15,558 - 13,570 = 1,988
Hours on oil: ~50
Out: 3qt Delvac 1300 15w-40 + 1qt Mobil1 V-twin 20w50
In: 1 gal of pre-blend (3.5 qts Mobil 1 15w-50 + 1 qt QS Euro + 1.875 qts Napa SAE 40 + 0.625 qt ASTO 500)
Qts Consumed: 0 qts

Off: Triumph OEM filter (given from PO)
Hours on Filter: ~50
On: MP6607

Nice shifting throughout the life of this blend (it did diminish in quality, still though.) Its very hard to tell the color-condition of the sump oil on this bike through the sight glass. Color seemed pretty dark, so I changed it--It had been a while since the last change.

Why the use of the special blend of oils in your bikes?

Why the use of the special blend of oils in your bikes?
My post looks a little funny with the fractional quarts. I made a frankenbrew of leftover quarts from oils I changed other bikes with. So far in total there have been 6 bikes in the last month, two this weekend that each took a gallon of M1 15w-50 and one that took a gallon of QS euro 5w-40. It's mostly for consolidation and application of pre-purchased oil.

First oil change at 100 miles. Honda GN4 conventional.

Easy change like any other scooter. Drain bolt and separate cover for the oil strainer. Pretty nasty metal chunk in the oil strainer along with some strips of what looked like sealer.

engine oil change VR1 20W-50 and Wix 57148 filter changed every 3500 miles
trans Redline Shockproof Heavy changed every 10k
primary Rotella T 15W-50 changed every 3500 miles

The reason for changing the primary every 3500 miles is to keep it clean inside and prevent buildup on the stator.
Lubrication wise there's no need for it. But if you've ever removed a stator cover and seen the junk buildup
you'd want to keep the primary clean too. Rotella T is cheap and I've had good luck doing this

Found a 2019 Honda Fury last week, a guy had bought new and parked in his garage since then. Bike had 47 miles.

He had been starting it occasionally and it ran fine. I bought it, aired the tires, checked other fluids, filled it with Shell Premium 93 and drove it 50 miles home. Checked again when home, all good.

At a few local miles later(odo110), I drained the engine oil and rear gear oil. Replaced with Shell Rotella T4 15/40 and a Fram XG6607. Rear gear got Valvoline Syn 80W90

Rode another 120 mile trip with local club and all looks good.
