2016 Yamaha WR450F, approx 184 hours run time

Drained: 0.5qt Yamalube 10w40 full syn, 0.4qt Rotella T4 15w40
Added: 0.9qt Yamalube 10w40 full syn, new oil filter

Suzuki GS650G (T) 1981

Out: Castrol Actevo 10w40, Suzuki filter
In: Castrol Actevo 10w40 and one qt. ST 20w50 syn 4T. Hiflofiltro filter.

2023 Honda ADV 150

Second oil change 251 miles. First change at 50 miles, which I installed a Goldplug magnetic drain plug.

Out: Honda GN4 10w30
In: Same

Metal amount on the magnet wasn't alarming to me. It was a consistent black paste really, no chunks. This oil will be changed with the GN4 10w30 again at 500 miles along with a first change on the transmission fluid.

1997 Harley EVO,
Changed out oil, trans and primary...
Engine oil always change 2x a year the last 26 years or whenever I get bored...
Primary and trans 1x per year.

OUT
Harley 20w-50 conventional engine oil
Harley Formula + Primary
Harley Heavy Synthetic gear oil ( in the trans )
Harley Filter

IN
Bel-Ray V-Twin 20w-50 Mineral Engine Oil
Bel-Ray V-Twin Primary
Bel-Ray Big Twin Transmission Oil 85W-140
S&S 4101 oil filter

I have used many brands of fluid in this bike from the 1st 300 mile break-in oil change to now after 26 years and I can say I have learned ( in general )
My engine hates synthetic ( top end tick ) loves mineral oil ( zero top end tick ) and my
trans is also fluid "picky" with 1st gear "clunk" and finding neutral... My trans loved Synergyn Syngear II ( no longer made, rats! ) but my transmission hated most others including the new Harley Heavy Synthetic Gear oil but loves the Bel-Ray Big Twin 85w-140 ( non synthetic ) Transmission oil. The shifting is now smooth as butter!
I am new to Bel-Ray but I am Very happy with the Bel-Ray products. Engine, trans and shifting are stronger, smoother and quieter than any other products I have ever used!

Did my 2023 Honda CB500X Break in Oil change @ 1000km even.

Out factory fill, crush washer, and Honda OEM Filter.

In 2.9L of Honda GN4 10W-30, with new Honda OEM crush washer, and oil filter.

Keeping it on conventional until 2000km, then I am dropping the oil again, and going full synthetic. Going to try Honda HP4S, and then eventually Motul 7100.

Yes, August 2022. And it was the model I wanted i.e. Standard, Manual Transmission. Had to drive across state to pick up. No luck locally. About a 3 month search. The 2023 models are same as 2022 but Honda added a couple new colors. 2023 models Very elusive in North America. But seem to be more available in Europe. Great bike and really like mine!

My 96 Sportster has run for years on Harley 20w50 until this year, now I use Mobile one 20w50 , I do have that clunk going into first, buts always done that...no ticking at all, but I dont have but alittle over 30k miles on it..yes it wasn't driven much..its old like me, Im holding on at 77 yrs young....Im gonna stay with this ride till my kids say thats it Dad,,,looking at trikes somewhat now..lol

Recently finished a top end rebuild on the 2003 Honda XR400R. Re-used the previous drained oil (still plenty good) for one run-in ride, then changed the oil and filter.
Removed: 1 quart Honda HP4 10w40 plus 0.8 quart Rotella T4 15w40, standard paper filter.
Installed: 0.9 quart Honda HP4 10w40 plus 0.9 quart Rotella T6 15w40 synthetic, standard paper filter.
Notes: very happy to have no leaks, no exhaust smoke and no noises after the top end build. Runs awesome!
