I'm inclined to try Rotella 15W40 and a Purolator car filter over the FRAM motorcycle filter unless anyone thinks this is a really bad way to go.
I recommended the Valvoline over the Rotella because my bike shifts smoother with the Valvoline than it did with the Rotella, so I'm assuming that means it has better lubricating qualities. I recommended not using Fram filters because of the cheap materials they use in their filters. There are better filters available for the same, or lower cost...Wix is one of them and they probably make one specifically for your bike...
