The Redline was in the trans and the diff. Had it in there from 125k - 160k. Sucked in the trans. Replaced trans with OEM.

2000 Mustang V6, 7.5" open diff. 71K miles. Out factory fill? In 3.1 pints 75W90 Valvoline synthetic. Used a lube pump to pump the old lube out the fill hole, measured to see if I got all of it out.

2013 Tundra 4WD with 7,700 miles

Out: Factory fill

In: Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-90

Rear diff took 3.8 quarts, front diff took 1.8 quarts.

Nice thing about Toyotas is that all the diffs have drain plugs.

Used a MityVac 7201 to pump it in.

Super easy job.

1994 Olds Cutlass Ciera, 97,500 miles.

Out: 50% factory fill, 50% whatever the dealership put in in a 2006 drain/fill/filter service.

In: about 7 quarts MaxLife Dex/Merc and Wix filter.

Not convinced the filter has a good seat, but I think the pan holds it in in addition to the seat around the filter neck. Definitly was a layer of fine particulate in the pan and on the magnet.

2004 Lincoln Town Car. 87,100 miles. 3 qts. Lucas synthetic

2007 Pontiac Torrent
99500 out with factory fill. The gear lube did not look good. In with supertech 75-90 to flush everything out after a week of driving. In with Mobil Delvac 75-90 at 100000 and counting.

2011 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD. 38k mi. Rear diff and Transfer case, out with factory fill. Still looked fine - overly cautious. Red Line 75w-85 as it was the only aftermarket fill that matched the viscosity specs of Toyota. ~0.5 qt in rear diff and 0.85 qt in Xfer.

2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab 6.0 2WD with G80 locker diff -
Mileage - 126,020

Out : Factory fill ??

In : Amsoil Severe Gear 75W90 (2.5qts)- did not chatter after test drive ,so no Slip Lock added.

56035 miles

2002 Silverado

Front Diff: Out... Durablend 80W90

In... Same

Drain plug was the usual nasty looking thing... kinda surprising because
this fill was less than 2 years old.

originally added Royal Purple 75w90 Max gear, unfortunately I had a little bit of a whine. I drained and refilled with Oreilly's Master Pro GL-5 80w90 and has been perfect ever since... Now I have about a quart of Royal Purple Max Gear sitting around begging to be used, maybe next time...
