Post your latest brake fluid change

Two weeks ago on my 1992 Volvo. Replaced rear brake pads.
out Castrol Dot 3
in Valvoline Dot 4
Used a pressure bleeder
PB Blaster on the bleeder screws

2011 Lexus RX350: old fluid was so clear could barely tell difference from new.

2015 Fiesta: Old fluid was green with black tint. I assume green means bacteria growing in it.

2015 Cadillac SRX

Back in 2019
Out: Factory fill
In: High Temp Prestone DOT 3

Pushed two qts through with my Motive Bleeder (makes it an easy one man job and is a huge time saver!).

I last flushed the fluid in my two cars three years ago and probably will do it again in two more years.

Out — Factory Toyota brake fluid
In — Dot 3 Napa

64,000 miles Toyota avalon

Fluid looked brand new coming out.

Syphoned master cylinder reservoir. Used a FloDynamic Jr Brake flush machine. Figure I’m good for two years now.

Out - ATE DOT4 SL, 2yr/34K miles.
In - Honda DOT3 Brake Fluid, 1-qt

2011 Prius, 214K.

2017 Mustang, 34,000 miles. Super easy on this car with a vacuum extractor. Prestone Dot 4. Was a little bit gold, now it's so clear, I can't see the level in the reservoir.

Russell doesn't make speed bleeders for my MDX or Tucson . . . :(

What year are your MDX and Tucson?

They often share the same size bleeder screw among many cars, so if your MDX shares a size with other Hondas, one might still be available.

But even if not, there are other good speed bleeders out there. Goodridge is supposed to be good, too

2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Out: presumably original fluid

2018 VW Golf Sportwagen. 72.5K miles.

I do this 2x a year. Also swapped out the f/r pads - front = APR BBK aggressive street/light track and rear = EBC Yellowstuff

I use FCP Euro for my brake fluid so sent back the old fluid in these bottles for a full refund/used PayPal for purchase so got return shipping for free.
