Second change on the rear diff of my 3500. Did it a couple weeks back. About 101,000km on the truck and approx. 60k on the oil. Out was 80w140 and in went the same. Next to nothing on the magnet and rhe oil was not overly dark either.

2007 Tundra 5.7
85k miles
Drained factory oil and replaced it with 2 quarts Valvoline 75W90 and 2 quarts Supertech 75W90

my uncle bought the truck new, he used it alot the first few years, hes 78 now and doesnt get out much.

2nd change on my 2018 Ram 2500 @ 18k miles. Mobil 1 75w90 out and Mobil Delvac 1 75w90 in. Ring gear still has machine marks on the teeth. Just a little fuzz on the magnet. Cleaned the cover well while I had it off.

93 C1500 with Detriot Truetrac 8.5"
out/in Super tech 80w-90 first drain since Truetrac install @ 2k miles along with new pinion seal

Return line flushed 19 1/2 qts of Idemitsu TLV-LV out of a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Transmission should have all new fluid in there now.
oops, I thought this was transmission fluid thread.....sorry.

2008 4.2L Trailblazer RWD w/ 175k mi
Out:??? Factory fill 75W90?
In: 2qts Napa/Valvoline High Performance 80W90.
Everything had a layer of black crud on it, no glitter or chunks of metal though.

Buddy's truck yesterday, both diffs & transfer case -

Out: 8-1/2 quarts of Mobil-1 75w90
In: 9 quarts of Amsoil Severe Gear 75w110 + 6oz of Mopar LSD additive

Not my car but my father's 2009 RAV4. Not entirely sure what fluids they used but from what I can gather they used Redline 75W90 for the Transfer case and rear diff.

Complete & utter fail.
Too much moly, and not enough Tungsten, Titanium or Intelligent Caster-earls molecules.

2017 Mustang V6 - Redline 75W-80. Debating adding Ford's friction modifier, even though Redline says it's already compatible for most LS diffs. Been hearing a strange noise from the rear that I've never heard before....sort of a "creak" and I hear it mostly when making slow turns. Can't figure out if it's the diff, or something else back there making noise, but figured I'd eliminate one suspect with friction modifier.
