post your latest differential fluid change

2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD-Offroad. Service records say front and rear diff along with transfer case serviced at 50,000 miles, 102,800 today. Drained rear diff and used triax 75W90, also changed transfer case oil with Redline MT-LV 75W. I'll do the front diff this weekend when I take the skid plate off to change the coolant. The fluids I drained out looked great, though.

2009 Honda Pilot. Not sure when this new to our family Pilot had its transfer case done but the fluid looked not bad coming out. The Pilot has an AWD system with an amazingly small 1/2 quart capacity. I’ve heard of the fluid getting cooked in other makes of AWD systems didn’t find that the be the case here.

The top plug was over tightened. I had to use my 1/2 inch pivoting ratchet with a 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch Cr Mo crossover and gave it a hit with a hammer to free up the 3/8 recessed pipe plug.

I was able to use my Dewalt 921 Impact wrench with the same 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch crossover to free up the bottom plug. The fluid on the transfer case is sprayed-on Liquid Wrench.

In: 1/2 quart Pennzoil 75w90 GL-5 gear oil.
