Post your latest beer consumption

I tried these two tonight. I’m afraid to say that they both got poured down the sink.

The Shiner had too much peach, it was just too overpowering. I couldn’t taste a hint of pecan, or anything else. Even on the nose, straight peach.

The Samuel Adams was overpowered by the Nutmeg IMO. I’m sure everyone picks up on different flavors, but for me, the nutmeg was too much. I prefer the old “Winter Lager” by a long shot.

Cold Town, a local Edinburgh brewery. It’s their Nitro XPA. I like the flavor of most pale ales I get over in the UK better than the ones in the US. In the US I really need to be in the mood for such sharp flavors. I don’t drink beer very often so that’s not often either.

though I quit drinking alcoholic beverages years ago, I liked back then, Walters beer (Eau Claire Wis.) or Point Lager (Stevens Point Brewery)

Founders’ Kentucky Breakfast Stout. 12%, aged in bourbon barrels and proof that anytime of the day is perfect to have some Breakfast!😂

Bottles are made just 5 minutes from my house, then shipped off to Michigan to be filled with goodness! Support your local businesses! 😉

I miss the CBS. Not sure if you have had that in the past, but it was definitely my favorite.
