Yeah, in general, I don't either. This was SA's first beer type that was actually OK.

The bar where I had it on tap was close to Boston, so maybe it was fresher there.

taste kinda like an appley beer. but differently than Red's apple ale... if that makes sense
the angry orchard seems more watery/flavorless than the woodchuck.
reminds me of the old joke equating american beer to having coitus in a canoe....

it is gluten free Mead. Most important thing make sure it's fresh.

actually wouldn't mind giving it a try, but, via the magic of Google, just looked at the "where to buy" section of their website, and neither My state, (OH), or My Brother's state (TX) are listed.. phooey.

Fat Tire on Saturday night, not as exotic as it used to be.

I am down to my last two bottles of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. My absolute favorite beer currently. Also quite pricey at ~$80/case, but it's worth every penny. Very difficult to find around here. I got hooked on it while on a work trip in Kentucky.

This case has lasted me since 4 months.
