Non-alc St. Pauli, Stella, and Heineken all taste similar to me. They're all very good for non-alc but the Clausthaler is in a different league.

Lagunitas has two VERY good offerings as well - a non-alc IPA called "IPNA" and something that tastes like hopped sparkling water called "Hoppy Refresher". The refresher is strange but good after a hot day.

I've tried the Heineken recently too & I think there are differences but nothing crazy different like you mentioned. I know the St Pauli is brewed in Germany & the Heineken is brewed in Holland. The Heineken has been the best tasting 0.0% advertised beer I've tried so far.

I've been meaning to buy the Lagunitas... I've seen it at walmart too.

Never tried that but their oatmeal stout is amazing.

I’ve never had the oatmeal stout, I’ll have to locate some and give it a go.

I would love to have one! My wife arranges foreign trips for students and next year they’re going to Scotland / England. I may have to tag along on that trip. I’m sure that I could find a couple to try in the evening once everyone retires to their rooms.
I wish that I was tagging along on this one coming up in March,..they’re going to Germany for 9 days.

I love all styles of beer but the Pilsner in all of it's iterations is my clear favourite.
The tall cans are from Iceland, the 6'er from a wonderful craft brewery here in the lower mainland

while the GF and I were out of town for a couple days earlier this week, stopped at the Whole Paycheck Foods across from the hotel, looking for a couple imports I can't normally get up here.
No London's Pride this time, but I got a 6 pk of Czechvar. (and a couple slices of good wood-fired pizza: Mushroom and Carmelized onion for me, Plain old pepperoni for her)

and to my surprise, I saw Lone Star for the first time outside TX. still the cheapest one in the case at $6.99/6pk. not quite the $5/6pk I got it for at the Wally down the road when my brother lived outside Ft.Worth.

Well believe it. I’m more of a craft beer drinker. Never tried Samuel Smith oatmeal stout though.

I just had an Elysian Space Dust IPA...very nice and at 8.2 ABV (alcohol content) you don’t need many to smile.

Is the ABV% on the back label, or no?
