I've been an occasional drinker for many years. However, I've had some issues with drinking too much. But it's not what you think. I'm really thirsty all the time. Water, juice, & about anything liquid gets thrown down the hatch in a split second. What am I getting at here. Well, I got tired of the Alcohol content totals in the beer but I decided that I didn't want to give up drinking the occasional beer.

So, what to do... I realized they made Non-Alcoholic or less than 0.5%. ah ha, the best thing since sliced bread. I started the trend this year. I've noticed there are more options these days too. Although, I'm not going to turn down a good "fully leaded" beer once in a while.

Here's one I picked up to sample at wally mart. Coors Edge (Less than 0.5% Alcohol). Not enough "full body flavor" for me though. I'll pick up some more to sample & post the results. Can't believe I missed this thread... This should've been my first post. ha ha
Thanks folks

From the label on the bottle.

SAMUEL SMITH’S NUT BROWN ALE
Brewed at Samuel Smith’s small traditional British brewery with well water (the original well sunk in 1758 is still in use), best barley malt, yeast, and aromatic British hops.
Nut Brown Ale is relatively dry with a rich reddish brown colour and inviting nutty flavour derived exclusively from a generous amount of roasted barley.
🇬🇧 Fermented in stone ‘Yorkshire Squares’. 🇬🇧

Here’s to a great weekend! Cheers my friends! 🍻

Never tried that but their oatmeal stout is amazing.

Try a real cask dispensed brown in the UK

Way better and probably best beer ever top 3.

Last night, two cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon as they were the last beers I had in my stash.
I donated 9 bottles of various beers to a friend's fridge earlier in the week.
I'm resuming my ultra-low carb diet.

Something about German "Purity Law". I found this at a beer/wine store called Feldmans in South TX. This one has GREAT flavor for less than 0.5% Non-Alcoholic beer. Fantastic brew!
That's one of the best non-alc beers I've had. Our local stores never have it in stock. There's also a Clausthaler dry hopped that comes in brown packaging that is very good.

It's been one of the best so far in my very limited experience with NA beer. Here's another one I picked up. This brand is recognized by many I'm sure. It was similar in flavor to the Clausthaler but was not exactly like it. It had good bones to it. Those Germans & others countries around that area have been brewing beer for a while... They seem to know what they're doing. :)

Non-alc St. Pauli, Stella, and Heineken all taste similar to me. They're all very good for non-alc but the Clausthaler is in a different league.

Lagunitas has two VERY good offerings as well - a non-alc IPA called "IPNA" and something that tastes like hopped sparkling water called "Hoppy Refresher". The refresher is strange but good after a hot day.
