I'll play along...Legend @ 438532 miles (repost). Maintenance records (since the car was new) show an abundance of 10w-40, 10w-30 Castrol GTX and Valvoline, both dino. Image is the PCV side of the engine. The other side looks similar. When I got the car at 274642 miles, I switched to Delo 15w40.

Lots of varnish (meh), some gritty looking stuff on the bearing cap, a funny looking lobe. This was the second attempt at sealing the (obvious) leak. It's still shows leakage. I think it's coming from the bearing caps at the ends of the camshaft.
