Ok, looks like the coldest day of the year might occur this coming Monday, possibly Tuesday for some. Supposed to snow in Houston. Most cities in the USA will be darn cold. Keep your begonias warm!

Here in KC we are supposed to have 4 days of temps 20-25° below average for the time period. You would think the world is ending. We truly are turning into a bunch of wimps. By next Wednesday we are forecasted to be just slightly below normal. At least this time we are not getting a snow storm along with it.

It’s hard for people to just “deal with it” when their city isn’t prepared for it. Northern cities have salt trucks and snow removal on the ready for the winter. But cities that don’t usually get this kind of weather can be brought to a standstill. Nobody even has the right tires for the conditions. So to say “deal with it” is actually a pretty stupid thing to say
