Phillips 66 Shield 5w30

My local farm store used to have it for like $1.70 a quart on sale. Never bought it because I always had other oil otherwise I would have.

I used a lot of Trop Artic, great stuff. I miss the brand name.
I also miss the 76 brand of motor oil. Generally it was more available in southern states. I used it for the first 75K miles on my Ridgeline before changing to full synthetic.

76 5w-20 blend.webp

My Dad worked at the Charlotte NC Phillips Petroleum terminal for 33 years. We always used Trop Artic oil in everything. The NASCAR race teams used the Phillips 66 gear oil and was delivered to them in 55 gallon drums. Dad didn’t have to buy gas for the first 10 years he worked there. High octane Flight Fuel in his 1956 Chevy every fill up.
