That was supposed to say MixableBTW I have done some research and the a3 and a4 are basically the same formulation. Their datasheets are also almost exact. So it appears there is no issue using this in Toyotas. Both a3 and a4 datasheets have this exact line: Pentafrost A3 is fixable with all phosphated OATs
It is, or at least it was. I did a double drain and fill, which is about all you need @75k on my 18 rogue. The manual states 150k so of course I’ll cut that in half. Not so much on a frontier, but cvt Nissans depend on the radiator to help cool the fluid, so fresh coolant is a no brainer. My Frontier isn't due for awhile, but this is too good a deal not to take advantage of. I believe Pentosin is the OEM supplier for Nissan so I just ordered a couple of gallons to pick up tomorrow. Can't go wrong for only $5 total.
That Pentofrost A3 coolant will be perfect for your Acura RDX. I bought out all 11 gallons of the A3 that was available locally for $1.76 per jug.Just picked up three jugs at Carquest in Pueblo, CO. Super nice counter guys, very old school auto parts store.
I didn't read this thread well, assumed this was blue Mercedes coolant. Now know it is Asian.
For $7.32 USD, happy to have on the shelf.
