Wish they hadn't closed them all in Arizona, would have loved that $1.95 Idemitsu ATF!
I would not call $27 for Fram oil “clearance” pricing but to each his own.

Yea only reason the quart's were a deal is the B1G1 free offer. I was hoping the jugs would also get the same offer but guess not.
Costco oil onsale will fill the bill at $13.50 a jug.

Yep. And i'm going to stock up on the Mercon V. Right now this is the cheapest Mercon V you can get and it seems to have better reviews then Supertech and Motorcraft.
Premium Guard bought the Fram name for filters, at least. Fairly sure AAP just licensed the Fram name from First Brands to slap it on their house brand Carquest Amalie fluids-in fact, when they first used the Fram name, they LITERALLY slapped a Fram label on over the Carquest one! Surprised they aren’t doing the same thing now…

AA has replaced FRAM with Argos branded oil. FRAM is non-operational during First Brands bankruptcy. Several threads on here on FRAM, First Brands, Argos oil.
Does this mean Amalie is out of the generic AAP oil business? The Carquest jugs seem to be making a comeback at the Advances I've been in. EDIT:Whoops, looks like Argos is an AMALIE BRAND! The more things change...

They told me the new Argos was an Amalie product as well.
When I search Bellmead and Beverly Hills, the FRAM oil is showing clearance prices. At least 0W-20 and 5W-30. The BOGO is over everywhere I guess.
ARGOS still sounds like a underwater bubble community. I know, I need to let this go.
Makes me think of ARCO Graphite Motor Oil every time I see the name.
I let a couple stores know I'll buy all the 5W-40 when they're ready to sell it for $2/qt.

Sadly our fram is that same price but for high mileage and conventional which is meh
I picked up some GTX high mileage SEMI SYNTHETIC for $14.95/5qt which seems like a better choice over conventional.
Some have found 10w30 Pensoil premium synthetic for the same price but my store has zero penzoil
Picked up 15q as my stash is low but the price really is meh for the type of oil to stock up a lot.
Walmart has empty filter shelfs and a ton of unlabeled fram on the top shelf but zero clearance
If that fram stuff was <$2 I would go for it, I doubt dropping a line to the store would make any difference
