Lots of AAP Clearance Items

I've just found some transmission fluid for our Element. Was looking to see if they had Valvoline or Castrol synthetics on-sale but couldn't pass up at $1.95/qt. Picked up enough for several years for it at once a year d&f.

They also have Type HP and Type TLS for $1.95/qt as well.
Any chance one of these will work in a 4l60e? Couldn't find both vehicles fluids that are due for service on sale but happy for the Honda's.

Good grief. I paid $30/gallon for the TLS-LV from RockAuto back in September. Three AAPs have this in stock near me.

Better buy it up fast, they just raised the price to regular sales price for me. Wonder if someone notified corp after i bought the 3 local stores out, or maybe they were clearancing NOS off the shelf.

Had to buy some at another store as they didn't have it at the 1/3 stores i ordered from, and it was back on clearance price. Idk. Missed out on 11qts at it but happy to have gotten the other orders.

Yep. Still $2 here for the ATF, but the 25% off clearance items is over. That 0W-20 is definitely $20.

Thanks wlk, I bought clearance Type H Plus at two stores in north Dallas area.

So the store at 958 S Havana in Denver put a ton of clearance stuff on tables right as you walk in the door.

They had several filters that online inventory claimed they did not, so your best bet is to walk in, have a list of part #s you want and just look. It also said they had three quarts of Type H which they did not.

TL;DR ya gotta put yer grubby hands on da stuff in person for best results

**** you guys! I just bought 50 quarts of the Fram Full Synthetic multi vehicle ATF. It was only $120 though. $2.25 a quart. Can't say no to that in 2026.

Yes, but only 15%. It is better than nothing but if you can wait, they will continue to reduce it every few weeks.

I was at one store where several varieties of quarts were BOGO. Some jugs were red tagged, but just a few dollars off.

Our local AAP carried the Carquest premium in my 7317 size for 9.99, the same prices as ORAP down the street for the MIcroguard version.

I don't buy oil at AAP, so I guess I never really thought much of the pricing.

Yea thats what I am seeing as well here. Reduced but not by much, or enough to buy yet.

Just looked the B1G1 free is quarts only. So still mediocre right now IMO.

Filter clearance is over here. Went to buy a Purolator air filter for a friend. Rang up $26.99. FS12750 was full price as well.
