I just got a $5 gift card via email from Advance. So I decided to see what was available.

A lot of basic FRAM filters for $1.12 and up.

A lot of premium oil filters with 20,000 mile ratings for $3 and up,

Purolator air filters were between $4 to $6. Wonder if they have a rebate for that.

Nitrile gloves were $6 for a box of 100.

Finally there were some interesting spray on bedliners. Those were only around $35.

I'm willing to bet that Advance will have a draw-down on motor oil and other fluids in the near future... some of the stores also have 'meh' priced clearences on auto detailing items. But that's on a store-by-store basis.

It’s hit or miss as to what’s in stock. I did a big online order for store pickup after thanksgiving. When I got to the store a lot of what I bought was out of stock. I still got a great deal on a bunch of oil and air filters. I looked again today, and they have some of the filters that were out of stock back in stock??? Not sure if they’re getting in shipments and restocking these? I may have to go back and check it out.

Been going on for awhile now. Purolator clearance (pureone air/cabin filters, boss oil filters, etc) started a month or more ago. Inventory getting thin. One of the AAP orange frams (force?) began $2 at that same time, more recently includes titanium. Keep your eyes out. $3 titanium oil and $5 titanium air/cabin are appealing if you can find models that fit your fleet.

Some AAPs are willing to transfer from other stores.

Per my local guy, AAP is getting rid of all Fram. Shelf space to be filled with carquest premium currently located on back shelves.

This thread and three other ones like it soon to be moved to the AAP designated thread by annoyed mod.

I went to AAP website, clicked on specials/deals, and lowest priced oil filters were $9.99. Maybe their sale is over?

Sucks all southern California locations closed down
Around here only 1/4 are left, now I’m going to need to check if any store left is closer than 100 miles (sort of like finding an indoor mall, people love walking through 2 feet of snow in -20 f weather box to box.)

go to the home splash page, scroll to the bottom and click on "oil filters" under "routine maintenance parts". I don't believe it's under "specials/deals"

It won't be long for them and they deserve it for the prices they charge

It's worth checking out if you haven't but this has been going on for a long time now and most of it is gone. I personally have bought my town out of the 80% off detailing supplies. I plan on reselling them. I got $25 dollar bottles of Maguiars ceramic wax for $4-5.

Maybe you get lucky and it hasn't been picked over but chances of that are slim at this point.

I was able to order a bunch of engine air filters for my vehicles and family. Nothing was available locally so met the $35 for free shipping.

Fram air filters can't be any worse than the no name Amazon ones I've been using.

I was looking at the clearance page for AAP and was surprised there are not car detailing supplies listed. Last year I got some great deals on detailing supplies.

They must have just removed them. There was a significant amount of detailing supplies on clearance for the last few months. I know because I literally bought my city out of them - well not all of them but everything that was 80% off I did. I'm reselling them if you are interested and would pay for shipping I'd sell them to you for less than you can get them anywhere else. Feel free to PM me.

My closest AAP has had very little clearance over the last month, mostly Knick knacks and slight markdowns on random small overpriced specialty and toolsets. A few very strange niche items for very specific brands. All fit on a little rolling cart
