Just about to hit 3k miles on the Rodeo's 1st HPL run, & wanted to see how the Pentius UFXL is holding up. Was going to hold off for 5k miles before changing filters, but got the itch to see how everything was looking. I am very pleased with them & they will be my new go-to. Practically identical to the PremiumGuard but cheaper. For just a little over $50 for a case on Amazon, it's a steal. These filters are not wire backed, but the media was still very firm, & don't think they'd have trouble on a 10k oci. I'm happy to see the HPL is doing its job, & removing a bit of carbon. The oil still looks clean, so topped off with the same, & threw on an extra Fram Endurance I had laying around. Next in line after the Endurance is a backup MicroGard Select I bought a while back as well, then back to the case of Pentius UFXL which will last a few years. Very solid filters & highly recommend them. The last 5 pic's of the media are after wicking the oil away between paper towels & a shop rag for a few days.

There definitely some loading in those creases. All the research I've done seems to agree w/what you see here that Pentius having good options. They're out of South Korea I believe. Good picks. Did it show where this one was made?
