^^^ Yeah, the LSJr "quart of oil flush" is a total waste. If there are any sediments in the bottom of the pan that won't come out with a hot oil drain, then they aren't going to come out with an extra quart of oil put through the pan.

I don't think it's about getting rid of sediment so much as diluting the dirty oil residue to be more clean than dirty.

Or, as I agree: "My sediments, exactly" LOL

Still a complete waste considering how much left over oil there is throughout the rest of the engine.
