I have looked everywhere, in store and online for Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 10w30. No one has it. Of course, I’ve check Amazon, Walmart, Napa, Advance Auto parts, Autozone, Oreilly’s, EBay and did a Google search for anywhere else. It’s been out of stock for several weeks. I’ve noticed that other weights of PUP is out of stock as well. Is this normal for them to be out of stock everywhere for this long???
I emailed Pennzoil and they were absolutely useless. They emailed me back telling me to check the same places that I emailed them stating I already looked. 🙄

You aren't alone. My local retailer doesn't carry it either. It is my preferred viscosity choice for my Impala but on the last PUP rebate / sale blitz for my stash I ended up getting 5w-30. The clerk's anecdote was "no one buys 10w-30 anymore it seems" and he may have been right?

Pretty much been this way for a while now:

Here is a thought, and this will help you out with your next oil purchase. If you are set on a certain Pennzoil Motor Oil, stock up for quite a few years. I can name quite a few oils that are better than PUP 10W-30, that does not matter, since you are wanting this oil. There is another thread with your same issue, so I will Link it in a minute.

Well, a certain Member already Linked it. LOL

Hard to believe that a company that’s in the oil business, is constantly out of stock and is so long in replenishing. You can’t sell what you don’t have. No telling how many sales they’ve lost because of this.

I only see these around here in San Diego

Buy the Vanilla Pennzoil Platinum 10w30

My last truck, a '15 Ram 2500 w/6.4L Hemi, called for Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-40. I usually had a hard time finding it locally. Sometimes Napa or O'Reilly's would have it. Most of the time I'd have to go to a few different stores to get enough (7 qt's.).

So, I switched to Amsoil Signature Series 0W-40. It was easier to just order that instead.

NYH.

The PP 10w-30 and PP 5w-30 test almost identically in the cold cranking simulator.
It's almost like they put the same oil in both bottles. Don't know if pup is exactly the same as pp in the cold cranking simulator.

Zero turn mower, pressure washer
Pressure washer and riding mowers run hot. Probably want at least a 40 weight.
Being a pressure washer the winter rating is probably irrelevant as you're not using it much at or below freezing.
My pressure washer oil hits 280f so it gets a 50 weight oil. Specially 20w-50 since I don't plan on starting it anywhere near freezing.
Me personally I don't think I've ever started my riding mower below about 40f. Even then all I did was move it to the back yard.
