I decided to try Ultra because I thought I could get 7.5k OCI's. Looks like I should be able to go 7.5k. Also, I got great prices on it from Amazon and Wal-Mart.

I forgot to mention this is the first time I used Ultra. All MC before. Also, this is a 2007 Mark LT and yes, its a very nice truck.

Yes looks almost to good to be true. Would have expected more metals at the 11k mile change due to break in. Doesn't prove that you are geting any benefit from the higher cost Ultra, wouldn't you say?

No, I didn't. The truck is spec'd for 5w/20.

The recommend OCI is 5k with this truck. The reason for the switch was I'm out of warranty now and I wanted to see if I could get to 7.5k mile OCI. I also got a steal on the Ultra quarts from Amazon awhile ago when they were mis-priced. I bought a few cases. I bought the 5qt. jugs at Wal-Mart.

The original OCI's on this truck were as follows.
1st-3k
2nd-4k
3rd-4k
5k after that until this current OCI.
