Pennzoil Injector cleaner - any good??

I picked up 4 bottles of Pennzoil Injector Cleaner (on sale $2.37 CAD) I wonder if it is the same stuff as Gumout? Is it considered a good cleaner like Techron, or Gumout?
Also I keep hearing that unless injectors are very dirty the cleaner may do more harm than good.
Some Nissan boards advice against it as it may damage injectors??????????????

Last Xmas my uncle gave me some and he loves the stuff. Says he uses it alot in his Dodge with good results. So while I was leary about it I went with it and dumped it in there with a full tank of 87.

About the only thing I noticed was a loss in gas mileage. I didn't calculate it so how significant it was, I don't know. Power, accleration was no noticeable difference but I'm sure it was like splittin hairs of a difference. Just my $.02,,,,,AR

When I hit the PZ injector cleaner ..it pops up a Gumout® Product sheet. If you hit this site SOPUS and just put Pennzoil USA in the Product brand ..and then put "injector" in the lowest field ("dot" the lower field option) it will puke out all the above products. You can then link to each of them and compare. You can also use the pull down menu to link to the MSDS for each as well.

I think that yours is the Gumout line in Canada
