Concerning the jet dragster engine:
6,000 gallons of oil used per 1,000 miles is bordering on excessive.
Maybe an ARx treatment would help.

Anyway it will be a cold day in **** before i get seduced by the evil Snap On

It's Craftsman or bust. Snap On makes excellent products but way to expensive for me right now.

When i was in tech school my teacher used Esso motor oil in all his vehicles and never had a problem and keeps buying it to this day.

My other professor never really told us his favourite.

Most of my friend's and buddies always used Castrol GTX in all their vehicles... I used castrol or valvoline higher mileage versions, my best friend uses mobil 1 in his zx2, my brother also uses mobil 1 in his malibu.

I guess though i leanred pennzoil does makes a good oil even after all the stories... I know i will never use quaker state, i didn't feel that it worked very well in the car.
