This is my friend's 2007 TSX, one of the three I service. He came out to the parking lot after work and noticed something was amiss...

While it's too bad-body work on that car (since it's an '07) will have little to no effect on resale value should he ever decide to get another car.

I would have my doubts that someone that hit it would duct tape the mirror back on. Sure it isn’t an excuse made out of embarrassment? Sure… some vandals did that… not the concrete fixture on the way out…
Yeah I should have put a ;) or  in my post.

I was thinking that damage looks very much like what was on the passenger door of one of our trucks when wife didn't remember the metal bollard and turned into it while leaving a parking space.

Sorry, but there's no way.

The damage started from the front, you can see the front of the door lip pulled back, and it went down. He hit something or another car.

And that kind of damage is not from some other plastic bumper of someone in a parking lot. It was something very vertical without much curves. It's also the entire length of the car, so if someone hit him while his car was stationary, odds are they'd have only hit 1 or 2 panels before stopping. Not 4.
