Park Avenues tires are cupped

This is an interesting thread. I had never known that worn struts could create tire wear. I had always attributed worn tires to misalignment of the chassis and suspension.

Nebraskan, do you have a COSTCO in your area? They have some competetive prices on tires and top name brands.

I was looking at the lineup at Wal-Mart and saw the Douglas touring about the same cost (within 10 bucks) of the Goodyear, and I believe the Uniroyal touring tires. I just thought that being made by Goodyear/Kelly-Springfield, they might be fairly decent tires. The tread design looked very good. But, the Goodyear also looked pretty nice as well.

Now this is intersting... you know who makes Douglas tires for Wal-Mart? Kelly-Springfield. Douglas is just a "name" brand of Wal-Mart. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Kelly-Springfield also part of Goodyears? ...as in wholy owned subsidary of Goodyear?
