P0449

Had rough idle and P0445, changed purge valve. Now I'm getting P0449, vent valve soleniod. Did changing the purge valve have anything to do with the P0449 I'm now getting? 2009 Impala 3.5.

Remember, Diagnostic Test Codes tell you there is a problem with a system or a circuit. They do not tell you that a part is defective.

Diagnose the problem and then repair what is broken. It could be as simple as a broken wire or a bad ground.
