Hi from México.
I have a Sentra 2008 with a 2.0 engine... I just changed the oil in it...i bought a Fram oil filter from AutoZone according to it's website and store they gave me The ph6607.. i noticed it was shorter in lenght than the old one i removed...i put it anyway...for the next oil change i want to install a bigger Fram filter...ive read the ph7317 has the Same thread and Same gasket diámetro; is that so? Have Anyone got an oversized oil filter with Same trhead and gasket diámeter of the ph6607?

3593a also fits (about the same size as the 9688, but is getting harder to find).
The 3593a and 9688 also are a larger diameter, so depending on the vehicle, it may not fit.

The 7317 is the same diameter, just longer.

The 9688 threads are the same too i think
Helping maintain 2017 Rogue in my observation one must be careful in recommending the larger 9688/3593a application. On the Rogue, Nissan has metal ring surrounding the filter mounting area. While I'm not 100% (close), I think the ring will prevent mounting the larger diameter filter. And really, as compared to the 7317, imo there's little gain over the latter. All that said, topic vehicle is an 08 2.0L, so the 9688 'might' work.

As for 7317 use as previously recommended by many above, 'personally' never seen a Nissan where that slightly longer filter didn't fit and work just fine. Basically 7317 has been what I've used on the Nissans I've serviced. So I agree with others, if room permits as I suspect it does, go 7317.

7317 size works great in the 6607 application, the wix 51347 is even longer but may not fit length wise for some applications.

Rock Auto is about the cheapest place for filters, just watch the shipping…

They had Fram Pro Series, which were Ultras without the grippy paint, and Champion filters for cheap about a year ago, less than $2 each…

Try Wix 51356…

Fun fact the Napa platinum 1358 costs $19.29...

While the Napa Platinum 5376 costs $11.29...

Napa Gold 1358 costs $13.49

Napa Gold 7356 costs $10.49.

I will run the cheaper version.
Same price for the FUS here in Toronto when on sale or not. Good to know though

Just bought 12 Fram ph7317 filters from Amazon, using Sub&Save with 2 week delivery, cost per filter $3.30 with Subscribe & Save discount, free prime shipping and Amex Preferred kicks in another $10 extra rebate with order (ordered couple other items to get Spend 50/Get 10)

These work on all our Hondas, including the hybrids.
