Oversize filter for 97-04 Corvette LS1

Can anyone suggest a slightly larger than stock oil filter with good filtration capabilities for a 2004 Corvette/LS1 motor?

The Corvette's OEM Delco filter (PF44; UPF44) is very small for a large V8 engine, but there is not much space for a larger filter due to ground clearance issues. Just looking for someone who has BTDT. Thanks.

I run the larger size on my 02 LS1 SS. Might want to PM Patman on this board, he's got C5 and would know for sure if you can use the larger filter. I know alot of Fbody guys using them with no problems.
