Trying to avoid online ordering and delivery whenever possible. Notice a trend where they email you that delivery process has started when all that has happened is that the label has been created. When shopping "best pricing" I now recommend contacting the supplier to verify "in stock". I have noticed that many of the most competitive prices are NOT in stock but ordered by the supplier once I have placed the order with an ambiguous delivery date.

Progress? Not really. I always support the bricks and mortar retailers, even if a few dollars more. Saves on delivery costs too, unless an Amazon Prime member.

Funny I just ordered late last night for delivery today from TSC. They charged $20 but it's worth it to me if it shows. Still, at 10a local time it just shows "Ready for delivery."

I figured it would be Door Dash or some such. I guess they're just struggling to find a driver.

I've never tried this with TSC before -- just WM and HD which have been fine.

If you want it real fast then you probably have to do Amazon Prime. Even then it may not come the next day.

LOL. Amazon has reached the stage where it can now apply the screws to customers and do only as much as it pleases.

Prime is not guaranteed, but still becoming less reliable. And the crackdown on return abusers has begun, as it should, but that net also affects the customers who legitimately return purchases, but now face delays in getting refunds. Worse case, they'll ban your account based on some opaque criteria.

Whole event was a fiasco.
Spent all day waiting on package day late.

it says my driver is awaiting package at depot but the map shows "karsynn" driving all over.
7 hours later it says shes on the way.. but she drove in the wrong direction and took another 4 hours.

after 7pm fat bearded uh "WV gentleman" shows up in a kia Rio wearing a white wife beater tee-shirt
and throws it down on my concrete step then takes a photo.

Least professional delivery I've seen

While relieved it showed up I canceled mowing some acres to be there but it showed up 11 hours after it said my driver was awaiting package at the depot.
could have easily driven 2 hours and mowed the acres before 7pm.. ugh.

but you know what they say. Bestbuy fooled me once.. it wont happen again.. they will probably join circuit city and hh gregg in a few years anyway.. if they keep on their current path.
