Fed-Ex lost my Auto-RX order

The only carrier who has left me a "Sorry we missed you" while I waited for them is USPS. Too lazy to get out of the mail van and ring the door bell, the postal courier assumed I wasn't home and left a "missed you" note in my mailbox. Not only did I have to go to the post office to get it, but it takes a while for the courier to return there. Then the guy behind the counter at the post office was too lazy to look for it. I had to insist someone look for it (step aside, they told me), and there it was.

In my little book, FedEx and UPS are better than DHL and USPS.

But there is always the particular courier/driver delivering your package that makes a difference.

Well, still no Auto-RX. I called, again, and got the SAME story. This is ridiculous and disappointing. The guy I talked to said I should have at least had a phone call and an explanation by now. He sent another message to the local terminal. It is looking like I am out $57 and my 3 bottles of Auto-RX.

I FINALLY got through to someone with a brain this afternoon. They transferred me to the terminal and I talked with a person claiming to be a supervisor. When I explained everything and he figured it out, they had a temp driver on my route because the other driver was on vacation. You could just hear the tone in his voice that he was NOT surprised that this temp lady made a mistake. So, he is supposedly waiting for her to come back from her route this afternoon and find out where the $(#$(*$*(%( my package is at. So, there might still be a glimpse of hope that my Auto-RX is not lost or that I will at least get something out of this.

i work at fedex ground, ups is about as bad but better than fedex. they both have about the same high rate of breaking your packages. and or loosing them, 99% of the time the label gets damaged or falls off in the automated high volume system. usps is pretty reliable and take care of fragile stuff pretty well. but usps are usually the slowest. but dhl is pretty good. this is all comparing ground shipments. air shipments are another story, there is much less volume and instead of people throwing your package trying to load a 40 foot trailer by themself in 1 hour, air actually has time to take care of your package and load it safely(does not mean they do all the time though) course it all depends on where your package is traveling. hope your auto-rx turns up.

We used to ship 80lb (the limit) boxes of metal parts for finishing when I worked for Trend Instruments. We'd get them and ship them out and the finisher would ship them back in the same boxes. You can tell that we endured a "weight limit penalty" from each and every person that had to handle the nasty things. The boxes were so beat by the 2nd turn around.

Isn't FedEx Ground an independent contractor type deal? That is, an "owner operator" deal??

My Auto-Rx came via DHL.

It was shipped and delivered surprisingly quickly, and uneventful...

The guy from the terminal just called. The temp lady left it at the wrong house. As in like on the other side of town wrong. The place she described to him is no where near my house and I have no clue where it is at. So, he is waiting to see what we do from here. At least they admitted fault, that is a plus.

Nope. No more phone calls from Fed-Ex. I am calling them this afternoon and rattling some cages.

You call Safe Ship (phone number on Auto-Rx Web Site) thats who Auto-Rx pays to ship your order. It is there job to find out where your order is. I am sorry you had such a rough time. If they lost that order i will replace immeadiately, including a courtesy bottle for the inconvience. E-Mail me if your product not delivered.
