I tracked them with Fed Ex..they claimed delivery through tracking online.. I called apartment complex and they said no the office doesn't accept packages..My roomate says they ARE NOT at the apt...Where are they? This SUCKS..

People will steal anything that isn't bolted down. And yeah, get a hold of FedEx, if they claim it was delivered and you don't have it I'd start filing paperwork on it.

There should be a minimum amount of shipping insurance on the package regardless, it depends how it was shipped, but you have options.

If there was nobody to leave the package with at your house, Fedex may have left it with the neighbors. Around me, they do it sometimes.

UPS did that to me once with a $600 bike. I was super mad and chewed them out over the phone. The driver did it b/c he was too lazy to return and try to deliver it again. It was a signature required package, so he just found some guy to sign for it. We don't know our neighbors, so they left an expensive package with some complete strangers.

Your credit card will fix this if noone else will.

I have first hand experience with US mail merchandise being dumped in a snowbank (somewhere else), with tracking, and the vendor had to eat it. Their fault for not insuring it, or their gamble for self-insuring.

If they don't show up, I'll bet you can find a cheap set on Craigslist or FleaBay that fits your model and is available for local pick-up.

Yeah, cheap pads on his local Craigslist.

"Ordered them online, they don't fit, can't return it somehow, still in package, sealed, definitely not stolen, $20".

Most FedEx packages can be directed to be held at a FedEx site.

I have my parts shipped to a local FedEx office location and when I see it's sitting there, I pick it up.

No need to be home. Nor do I worry about the neighbors grabbing something. I just drive up there and pick up my item(s).

The live agent CLAIMS fed ex transfered the order to the post office...Boy this is messy

When I lived at an apartment, most all of the time, the UPS driver would leave a slip and then Id just pick it up will call that night at the facility that was maybe 5 miles away. Not sure if FedEx will do the same, but its worth a look if you live in an apartment in a bad part of town (or good one for that matter).

Did you order them from Amazon? Amazon does this now - Fedex delivers it to your local post office and then your mailman takes over from there. The same tracking number can be checked both at fedex.com as well as usps.com, although usps.com tracking info is usually delayed beyond useful.

From FedEx on a parts shipment I should get tomorrow.

Hold a shipment at a FedEx location:
FedEx provides you the option to hold a shipment at a nearby FedEx location at no extra cost in case you will not be available to receive your shipment. Only the shipper, recipient or payer of the shipping transaction may make a Hold at FedEx Location request.
There are some merchant shippers that do not allow customers to change the shipping address once the shipment is in transit. For questions about your shipment’s eligibility, please call customer service at 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 and request ‘Hold at Location Service.’

No, I ordered them from Drivewire. The rotors came UPS..fantastic Fed ex..really is lame with the package delivered and no signature required [censored].
