Went with the McGard 64073’s. The tapered section is a bit shorter than OE but probably close enough. Re-torqued after a long test drive and they remained tight.

That's crazy that you have to replace the lug nuts on a brand new truck. They look nice though.

Unless you are driving on the beach I would think the rust issue is pretty minor in Texas and California. I bought a set of White Knight lug nuts 3 years ago and they are rusted bad enough to get stuck in the impact socket. I’m planning on replacing them with McGuards.

Another vote for the Gorilla locking type, although I needed all new lug nuts for these wheels I bought, I figured why not get the locking style for not much more. Best thing is they don't LOOK locking.

For my Dodge 1500 I put on different lugs that I got from Fleabay that had all stars and many users. Just remember that if you change them your lug wrench may not fit the replacements. I have to carry a 4 way now.

I replaced all the lug nuts on my Town and Country with whatever Advance Auto had in stock that was one piece. No problems so far and I have 1 winter on them.

My Wrangler has a mishmosh of lug nuts. One wheel is all nuts missing the outer shell. 2 wheels are all standard, shelled lug nuts, and the last one is standard plus a 21mm that looks to be off an old car. I consider it wheel security…..I carry sockets for each size in my Jeep toolkit.

A friend just peeled the skins all off on his F150 and uses a smaller socket.

I've had to replace a number of unplanned items on this truck. At least for my truck, FCA quality has been as spotty as reputed.
