The store manager.

Does that mean Les is the "Master of the house?"

This question will only make sense if you've seen the show.......not that there's anything wrong with that.

OMG, too funny. Please claify the policy on miss-priced items for me, so I too can become popular at Wally's.

Mispriced stuff you get the lower price, minus $3. Except tobacco, milk, beer... stuff with minimum prices by law.

Less than $3 it's free.

Might vary regionally, but the policy is printed by the cash registers and/or around customer service.

Yes there's a limit of one mispriced item per visit.

Back when quarts were mispriced (and free!) I tried buying one 5w30, 10w30, 10w40, 20w50, and HD30 and then getting them all price-protected. They'd only let me do one even though they were all different UPCs. So I returned the rest.

That would have been one funky mongrel mix of an oil change anyway.

I was at Walmart today and all of the conventional oils from Valvoline, Pennzoil, Castrol, etc. were at $2.12/quart. At that rate I may have to re-think Mobil 1 in the 5 quart jug for under $20...at least while it lasts.

Two weeks ago, I scored the remaining leftover(overlooked clearance stuff) Maxlife Synthetic 5w30s from my Wally's...for $2.41 each(got 6).

Apparently, these qts were on a reg dino Maxlife(priced above) shelf. When time to pay, it rang at $4.56...insisted the "misleading" price posted on the shelf and after some persistence...and voila!

Instant Valvo Syn clearance!
