Oil for the 812 Superfast

The Krypton is advertising MB 229.5 performance level, but lists a NOACK over 10.
That really grinds my gears when companies "recommend" their products for service categories they shouldn't, it's probably a decent MB229.3 replacement but not MB229.5, it's like multi-vehicle transmission fluid that says it's good to use in place of Allison TES-389 and TES-295 when they should just say TES-389 not both TES-389 and TES-295, because 389 is compatible in most TES-295 application but at a shorter interval, and very few if any multi-vehicle transmission fluids are actually to the caliber of TES-295 so they shouldn't list it as compatible.

The car is currently running on Pakelo 5W40 ...
"you’re living in the past sir. TGMO 0W16 or bust"
Maybe some day, we shall see. I will start with the 30 grade and see how it goes. Then I will probably go to a 20 grade.
If the Superfast is burning a quart every 400 miles on 5W-40, wonder what it would be doing on xW-20.

ferrari specs 5w40 a3/b4 and assumes it’ll be from a major with serious approvals like 229.5 and a40.

anybody can self police and slap a3/b4 on the jug, these little league players got cozy with a ferrari dealer. it’s technically not wrong but their product probably sucks

When I checked out the company and full line of products I was very impressed. I feel safe running their oils.

I most likely won't.
I hate when blenders spec contradicting recommendations or pretend approvals
which they don't have.
Many gear oils allegedly meet BMW MTF-LT-1, MTF-LT-2, MTF-LT-3 and MTF-LT-4
simultanenously which is impossible as MTF-LT-3 is 75W and MTF-LT-4 is 75W-90
and 75W-90 is commonly twice as thick as 75W above freezing. I feel quite certain
the same happens with PCMOs.

I'm pretty sure that company is American and based in Ohio.
Eh, I didn't pay attention and thought the PAKELO stuff was the same as the 2nd 'page'. The PAKELO definitely isn't US-based - I see the usual English-translation oddities that non-native English speakers make when translating.

Generally it's to the office and around town like to dinner or Home Depot or the like.

Whatever you do, please don't take that car to HomeDepot or park far away. lol

I would rather use a thin oil (I'm a thickie so anything below 30) than taking my nice cars to hardware stores. I still have a 5" scratch when I took my new truck to Lowe's. Need to buff it out. Left it as a reminder to take my old truck to hardware stores! :)

Is it me, or does the previous gen Corvette and this car almost look exactly alike?

I have been told a few times that people thought my Corvette was a Ferrari. It does have similar lines:
