Oil Filters---Stock

I been using this brand FULL
good quality and nice construction
Where you located and buying FULL oil filters from? They are pretty hard to find in the USA since NAPA and AAP stopped carrying them a couple of years ago.

I've torn down three FULL filters and was less than impressed but they were somewhat interesting. Definitely not terrible, but each had issues that I could not accept. I wanted to like them but ended up with Pentius XL and now probably CarQuest Premium.

I did a search of the site and no posts popped up. Otherwise I wouldn't have made a new one! Lol Yeah, they've been out of the AGM battery size 35 for a while, too. 4 year free replacement for the price is a steal.
I checked 4 walmarts near me and same stock problems. The company that failed not only owned fram but also champion, which makes many of the Supertech filters. Not only filters, but Valvoline Restore and Protect and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum are out of stock in all those Walmarts, too.

Will have to look at NAPA again then. Last few times they were always out of stock of the Nissan interchanges. Used a few of these on my 2016 Frontier and was impressed with the couple of cut opens i did.

I knew of Fram, but didn't know they owned the Super Tech supplier too. Well, that explains my confusion as to why Super Tech was out.

To be honest, Walmart and Target, at least the stores I go to, are reminding me more and more of a Kmart feel from the late 80's and 90's. Just kind of feel chaotic and disorganized enough that you wonder if it's an ominous sign or just supply chain issues that keep changing often enough it's just a feel and not corporate incompetence.

Walmart has always stocked Mobil 1 filters, the reason they stock Purolator Gold is because Mobil 1 switched to a different manufacturer instead of sticking with M+H so instead of losing shelf space/income M+H took the old Mobil 1 filter and rebranded it.
The gold Purolator 20K is more like the Boss (same efficiency per Purolator Tech Dept phone call, and up to 20K miles rating). The Mobil 1 made by M+H was 99% @ 30u, and it's the same efficiency on the new Mobil 1 made under Highline Warren.

Your local Dollar General has PG filters in about 10 flavors from what I saw last night and oil at under $18 a jug for those that don't sweat oil certs and approvals. The filters are a plus although limited in sizes...

This is in the MD DE PA area
Oil is

But they also have Castrol and Pennzoil

Was in my local Walmart yesterday. I checked availability of 7317 variants. Absolutely nothing except for a plethora of A02s in a blue box. I opened one and the filter was wrapped in plastic and bore a Honda label.

found a slightly used Fram today at wally

I have chosen to purchase from Advance Auto or O’Reilly when they have the oil change bundle deals. For me it’s less hassle and takes less time.

I used to buy oil there, if you caught it on sale and used the Saturday 5 dollar coupon you could get an OCI pretty cheap.

Never seen filters there now I’m curious.
