Oil change interval Rotella Gas Truck in Kia GDI used for delivery

Every 3K and you will never have to doubt. At $10 per 5 qt jug for the RGT and then changing the oil filter (if OEM) every other oil change,
you would be golden....

At the maximum go by whatever your manual says for "severe service."

Keep the oil clean.

If it spits a rod - I think they will still give you a new engine under the recall.

Due to the fact your replacing a quart of oil every 1000 miles as you stated.

It consumes about a quart every 1000 miles at 115000 miles. Is this a concern? There are no leaks that I can detect

I have Rotella Gas Truck 5w30 in my 2012 Kia Optima GDI and I'm a delivery driver. Lots of stop and go and idling. A lot of engine restarts throughout the day as well.
How long would you push it?

So I got sooooooo much of that oil on close out, it isn’t funny.
That being said, I would not go over 4000 miles on it because all of the Stop / go / Idle , let alone the GDI factor......change it often with whatever you get for a good price.

The 99 Corolla in my sig is going to be the future recipient of that RGT when my stash of PUP runs out!

When your engine soon fails, you will get a free new engine. Problem solved. Change oil every 4K with synthetic 5-30 in new engine.
