Want to change oil on my 2000 yamaha v star classic 650 but have run into problems. Had trouble finding the drain bolt and what I think is the drain bolt won't come loose. There is a 17mm bolt on the left side of the engine. It's really crammed in there and is difficult to get a tool in. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I like that Super Tech auto filter on the motorcycle instaed of the motorcycle one. I use them all the time on my Polaris's. I cant see the difference between the two.
Got it figured out. Was using wrong tool. Grrrrr, after all the frustration I forgot to put oil cap back on. Fired up the bike and oil went flying everywhere. A good washing is now on tap for tomorrow.
At least it wont rust now
