Some oil change stickers on ebay and Amazon are actual stickers with adhesive, and these won't come off at the end of the OCI :poop:

Make sure the ones you use are vinyl static cling colorforms that don't have any actual adhesive on them, so they just peel off. Most oil change stickers are like this, such as the ones the oil companies send you for writing to them, the ones you get from the parts stores, etc.

I'm having trouble removing one of the adhesive stickers from my windshield :(

I actually prefer the oil change stickers with the light adhesive film because they won't fall off the windshield in cold or damp conditions. I usually pick up the free ones at O'Reillys which have adhesive backing instead of the static cling stickers at AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts. I print the date/mileage info with Brother Label Maker tape so it won't fade like Sharpie markers.

The solution to your problem is to just stop using the oil change stickers.

Those stickers don’t have enough room to record the kind of oil, amount, or filter type, and for good reason. They are a staple of a by-gone era of data storage.

I refuse to post up my advise of the best way to shoe a horse because
a) you shouldn’t be shoeing your own horses
b) anyone that shoes their own horse already know’s everything I already have to tell them.

Non-removable window stickers are a problem in search of a person to be a problem for.

OLM, CarFox’s free app, iPhone/Android’s calendar entries - all these options are far superior to buying pieces of plastic to glue to your windshield.

I implore you to take advantage of them.

Happened to me last round of OC I got stickers from aliexpress 4 labels to a sheet. They did not peel off and I had to use a combination of Goof Off and razor blade to remove them. Got a roll of new plastic film adhesive labels and will stick the remaining paper labels onto the side of the oil filter cans.

Never really did the sticker things

I just use part of the filter box and stick it in the sun visor.

or on a newer vehicle that has multiple tripmeters I reset one of them at the oil change and just track it that way.
