Wife's OLM system is going to put her in the 8000-10000 miles range on oil changes right now. Highway miles. It has had one oil change from the dealership. ( FREE ) . I'm going to run PP for the oil and going to get a Pureone for the filter. Here's the questions. Can I change this cars oil from it sitting on the ground ? Can the oil filter be removed with a standard strap wrench? Do I have to get a socket style set up ??? Thanks for any advise.... WD

If it's anything like a 2004 Civic, you'll need ramps to get under it, and you won't be able to reach the filter with a strap wrench.
If it's an Si, the easy thing to do is put the front end on jack stands and take the passenger front wheel off. There is a "window" just above the axle where you can reach in for the filter.

The DX/LX/EX filter is right in front of the radiator when you look underneath the engine.
+1 on using ramps. Don't know about whether a strap wrench would work but I suspect a cap wrench will make the job easier.
As for using a Pure One, hand tightening with the texture on the PL 14610 is all I've needed. Good filter choice.
