Which 7317 Fram ( or other sized filter ) for a 2.0 Honda commuter?

Made by PG as well (judging by it looks).
That's possible. However, the case of PG's I had before were made in Vietnam, & these are from Korea. They are identical looking inside & out, yet Pentius seems a little neater with pleat spacing & glue, & state are 99% efficient @ 20 microns & up.

Is it not possible that PG has two production sites or even maybe more? They seem to operate in that region of the world so it makes sense for them to have a site in Korea, Vietnam, and possibly China.

Absolutely possible. I'd imagine that there would be differences in production QA/QC between countries & factories under a single brand none the less.

Haven't cut one open, but the STP Extended Life filters look the same, & are made in China.

Does it state this on the box or?

It also says it on the can. I recently posted 2 different c&p's of the Pentius filters if anyone was interested how they look inside. One was off my Civic most recently, & the other off my Rodeo not too long ago.

Really good looking filters

The Pentius base plate is ever so slightly different from a generic PG. But otherwise very very similar.

PG sources filters rather than manufacturers them, but you can imagine there to be a manufacturer who operates in several countries in Asia.

Pentius is based in CA so may have nothing to do with PG except buying their filters from the same manufacturer albeit their factory in South Korea.

If 99% at 20 microns is true, this is even better than PG private labels that claim at 25 microns.

Closest thing to that from PG is the CarQuest Blue that states “99.5% efficiency at 20 microns“

Their Microgard Select version does state the ISO test as “99% efficiency (Laboratory Test Performance per ISO 4548-12 at 25 microns).”
