Oh lord the 2023 Accord is ugly

I agree 100% , styling looks like it was conglomerated in a mass meeting of people who didn't want to offend anyone.
It's blah... like boiled chicken with no seasoning .
It's a step backwards - styling wise IMHO.
Previous generation was leaps and bounds better in everyway.

Lol, its like they took a donation from every car and then stuck it on the Maury show and asked who’s the father.
I think 🤔 that's what happened precisely from the German automobile 🚗 maker Gumpert. I believe they used alot of parts from VAG. Like any car, it either grows on you or you out grow it.

My fave is this body style:

I watched a few youtubers review the 2023 Accord, but they were top trims under studio lights. This is the LX in the wild. It looks like the Ford Taurus and Saturn L300 had a child. What has Honda done to the Accord? Even the upper trims look ugly and blob like. I like the clean looking interior but that’s where it stops. Then they put the 1.5T in all trims. 😔

They're all ugly, I don't like anything Honda offers. ;)

Saw a base model on the showroom floor while my Honda was in for service. Maybe upper trim levels are more appealing, but I have to agree the overall look is, um, uninspired. And worse than the exterior is the interior with masses of dismal gray fabric and plastic: no contrasting colors, no attempt to make it more interesting.

If one can say a Camry is more visually appealing (imho, it is) Honda really dropped the ball.

Steering feel in these was AMAZING, and probably the “one to beat.” Was a great car in a 5spd, a drivers classic.
I always thought Honda was the top of the heap as far as transmissions and shift linkages went back then. I drove a few Legends, Integras, Civics and Accords of the 80s and early 90s, and they were some of the best I've driven to date.

They still do a great manual. Clutch feel and engagement + shift linkage is still excellent. Right up there with VW. Their automatics were mostly trash.
