73k.. Wow .. This is a record for this forum and probably most anywhere I believe.. hehe
How were the adbv's in both of these XG's you posted today ?
I kept drain and refills at 6K miles instead of 8K miles due to the construction zone driving.
How many miles on that 18' CX5 ?
Yeah I'm thinking run the fe3600 oil filter on my lawnmower till it rusts. You could likely join the 5-year FCI team as well if rust doesn’t get to it
Wow, that's impressive.
Dave is going to be a BITOG Legend.
Great run. I’d go for 90m or 100k next time. As all know I ran ancient tough guard with screen over bypass valve to mid 20k without issues. And I mix clearance oils to get to 5 quarts.
Brand and oil viscosity not important.
That's like showing the Puritans a photo album of the women's ankles you've admired. And I mix clearance oils to get to 5 quarts.

If it's not got any leaks and the air filter is secure this is to be expected! I'm impressed by the willingness to go that many intervals, no try start to worry about as the filter wasn't removed. I WOULD be worried had this been in a high snow and salt environment as I have seen a couple of filters rust out. Great pictures!Filter sent to me by @Dave Hess
“Fram Ultra XG7317 with 73K miles (12 drain & refills) off a 2018 Mazda CX5 2.5L non turbo engine. Various sale clearance oils used and was driven in construction zone daily so should have sand and grime inside.”
overall this filter was extremely clean with only small carbon chunks in the base end. the media is currently wicking with some blue shop towels and i will update this post in a week.
