I talked to a friend of mine tonight who told me Nextgen is being closed out at the local Walmart.
I took a ride and sure enough every bottle is being sold cheap in the separate close out section, big jugs of green for $13.49 and the red Maxlife for $15.49. All weights are available.

The guy working that dept said its not selling even at these prices, i didn't buy any and my friend left empty handed also even at that price.

No not bad at all but knowing this particular Walmart if its still there next week it will drop to 6-7 bucks.
I haven't been there in quite a while but the oil selection is really thin now.

You dirty dog!

It's 14.00 by me for Max life big jugs. I spoke to valvoline, and they said Walmart isn't carrying it anymore, but everyone else will. Has to do with Walmart. If they see anything not sell super good they just remove it. I called other auto parts stores and they said they will continue to sell it.

Starting to wonder about Walmart.

Is Maxlife Full Synthetic out too? I saw it at a couple walmarts out of "10."

Yeah I saw this as well. They were selling 5qt jugs of regular nextgen for $12.75, and maxlife for $15...think this is worth jumping on, guys?

Yes...on the clearance rack. But here's the part that made no sense..I bought some individual qt bottles that were $1.30 each....some were normal nextgen, others were maxlife nextgen...the 5qt jugs of maxlife nextgen rang up for $17 bucks..I said to the lady they were on the clearance rack for 6.50....so she calls the manager over...he tells me its because the maxlife isn't on clearance..I then say well the individual qts of maxlife rang up for the advertised clearance price...they both just look at me like I'm speaking Chinese...so I put all the 5qt jugs of maxlife back on the shelf...so I ended up with 49qts instead of 74qts Haha....sorry for the grammar I'm using my phone to type this. I'm gonna go back and see if the remaining jugs will ring up for the advertised price

Seems like Walmart is the only place doing this. I stopped by O'reilly, and Napa, and they both said the oil has been selling, and they have not heard anything about it going away. I do not know. I think it is a great idea of a product, and I like, that Valvoline is not involved in all the shady stuff, as the big oil companies. Destroying other countries, and killing people is not something I enjoy supporting. Not trying to be political, but I am environmentally, and humanely conscious. It seems like it is almost impossible to get away from it these days though. The only answer would be; stop driving.

I've seen quarts of the Valvoline MaxLife, Full Synthetic on the clearance rack at Advance Auto. API-SM, GF-4 for $4.95 a quart along with some quarts of DuraBlend. I've never seen it on the shelf at any of my WM stores.

Has anyone done VOA as well as UOA on Nextgen products and compare it against the standard Valvoline products. I can tell for fact that most eco-friendly products I have tried are far inferior than the standard products from the same makers while costing more in the name of green energy. For example, Timberland Earthkeepers boots are more expensive but the outsole doesn't last very long. For products with lifetime warranty, it is very disappointment since sole wear is not considered manufacture defect.

I don't see any reason to pay more than 50% of regular oil prices for recycled oil. I will never buy it unless it is less than $1.50/qt.

I have really been wondering about the quality, or strength of the NextGen. Haven't really found anyone. Haven't seen a UOA either, but like stated, having one posted would be cool.
