The vehicle pictured is not the Oshkosh offering

I new the decision had been made (although not announced) when Ford leaked the new V6 Diesel for the new Transit was being shelved in the USA (The postal contract required Diesel for ICE combinations).

The post office has had a long standing ban on diesel motors in their daily driver vans.

It is very unlikely that will change.

But I would love for the 5 speed stick diesel transit to come over the ocean, it always dissapointed me that fords first Gen transit wasn’t the diesel stick.

The new van has a low engine compartment and hood and a very high windshield. It looks like a Beluga Whale.

Doubt it will speed up delivery.
